DAY 1
Arrive in Marrakech Menara airport to be met by our representative who will give you the necessary information and assure your transfer to the hotel to meet your tour leader and the rest of the participants.Dinner and accommodation in the hotel
DAY 2
This morning drive south across the plains of Marrakech and the High Atlas Mountains to enjoy one of the most beautiful sceneries in the country. Stop at 7000ft of altitude before you arrive in the pre-saharan areas.This afternoon you will be exploring the amazingly designed Kasbahs in the region of Ouarzazate such as Ait Ben Haddou, Tifoultoute and Ouarzazate itself. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
DAY 3
Cross the wild and barren mountains of the Anti-Atlas where some nomadic tribes live before you arrive in the great valley and oasis of DRAA. The largest natural palm plantation and oasis in Morocco. All along you will discover a huge variety of people, fortified villages and natural sceneries. Once in Zagora, you will drive further south to visit an old Koranic school and its antique library where some documents date back to the 12th C.
DAY 4
Today you will start by enjoying another part of the DRAA valley before you cross a stony and sandy desert towards the Oasis of the ZIZ and the valley of TAFILALET. Once here, 4X4 vehicles will be waiting for you to drive you off road across the Sahara to the impressive sand dunes of Merzouga. Stay in the desert of Merzouga for the rest of the day and enjoy the fantastic sunset before you drive to ERFOUD. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
DAY 5
This the most beautiful drive along the road of the one thousand Kasbahs. Enjoy a short hike along the Gorges of Todgha, the beautiful colourful scenery along the valley of DADES and the EL KALAA, the capital of the roses in Morocco. Arrive in Ourzazate in the late afternoon. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
DAY 6
This morning is at leisure in the hotel in Ouarzazate. In the afternoon, drive back to Marrakech.
Dinner and night in the hotel.
DAY 7
Visit the city of Marrakech, the gateway to the Sahara desert and the former caravan centre.The Medersa BEN YOUSSEF (14th C.), the Koubba which is what remains of the oldest mosque in Marrakech ( 12th C.), The museum of Marrakech ( 19th C)…and the artisan quarters. In the afternoon, visit the Souks and the Bazaar before you start exploring the main square JEMAA EL FNA with its jugglers, singers, acrobats and snake charmers.Dinner and accommodation in the hotel
DAY 8
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
