The Imperial Cities Of Morocco

DAY 1
Arrive in Marrakech Menara Airport. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative who will assure your transfer to your hotel, assist you with the check in and give you the first information as well as the appointment to meet your Tour Leader and the rest of the participants. DAY 2
After breakfast, start with a historical tour of Marrakech and admire the beauty of this city's monuments and architecture such as the BAHIA Palace, Dar Si Said Museum, The Royal Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Minaret. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk through the famous Souks of the Medina, a feast for the senses, and stroll at your ease on the World Heritage Jemaa El Fna Square to discover the Moroccan folkloric traditions. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel in Marrakech.

DAY 3
Drive across the central plains of Morocco towards the Atlantic coast and the city of Casablanca where you will have a tour that will reveal the different aspects of the city stopping at the Habous Quarter, the Cathedral, Hassan II Mosque and the main Square.In the afternoon, you will visit the capital city of Morocco dating back to the 12TH century: The Kasbah of Chellah, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Hassan tower, the Kasbah of the Oudaya and the Royal palace gardens. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel in RABAT.

DAY 4
Drive inland to Meknes, built in the 17th C. and served as the capital of Morocco for one of the most powerful kings in the history of Morocco: visit the impressive granaries and stables, the Shrine and the mosque of the king; the monumental gate Bab Mansour as well as the Dar Jamai: the Museum of Meknes.In the afternoon, you will discover the archaeological site of VOLUBILIS, the antique Roman Capital of Morocco where a comprehensive tour will take you around  the high lights of this site. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel in Meknes.

DAY 5
This morning take a short drive to FES and have the whole day to explore the oldest capital of Morocco and its medieval Medina where you will visit the skilful artisans and their workshops, the tanneries, the 14th C. Koran School and the Nejjarine museum. Walking through the most colourful Souks and markets. In the afternoon, visit the pottery workshops, the Jewish quarter of the 14th C and its synagogue, the Royal palace Square and the Batha Museum. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel in Meknes.

DAY 6
Enjoy a long drive across the Atlas Mountains and discover a great part of the country and her people. Snowy mountains in the winter, Cedar forests, nomadic tribes, earth-made Berber villages and extended panoramic sceneries. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel in Marrakech.

DAY 7
In the morning, you will be taken in a horse carriage to visit the famous Yves Saint Laurent gardens created in the 20's by a French artist, the medieval Menara gardens and the 12th C. city walls.Your afternoon is at leisure to re-explore the Souks, Bazaars and the modern part of the city. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel in Marrakech.

DAY 8
After Breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport of Marrakech for your return flight.
