Horse Riding

We recommend a one-hour horseback tour of La Palmeraie, a palm grove situated in the northeast corner of Marrakech.  It represents an oasis in the middle of the city with a hundred thousand trees providing shade from the hot African sun.  Horse riding in La Palmeraie is an ideal way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and offers the chance to see some of Morocco’s most exclusive residences that have been built in the shade of the trees.

Camel Treks In The Sahara

A visit to the Sahara Desert is a once in a lifetime experience.  Imagine riding a camel through the Sahara with nothing around you and no sound apart from the footsteps of the camel on the soft sand.  The sky is vast and clear in the day and packed full with millions of bright stars at night. It is a truly peaceful experience, rarely known to most of the busy western world.

With only a handful of roads, trekking is an ideal way to explore the country by walking along the ancient trade routes and trails that link the villages and towns.  Trekking provides you with the time to fully appreciate the spectacular natural beauty and rich heritage of Morocco and to gain an understanding of how local people live and work.

Hot air ballooning

Enjoy the beauty of Marrakesh from the air by taking a hot air balloon flight from La Palmeraie in the northeast corner of the city.  After an early pick up from your hotel/riad, you will be driven by 4*4 to the take off pad for a one-hour flight across the immense palm grove.  You will fly over small villages and will have superb panoramic views across the palm grove against the backdrop of the impressive Atlas Mountains.

The flight is followed by a detour to a typical tiny hamlet where you will sample mint tea and Moroccan cakes prepared by the local villagers.  Finally, your driver will cross the Tensift River and La Palmeraie and return you to your hotel/riad around midday.

Karting

Driving karts off-road is a fun and challenging way of exploring the local area and experiencing a thrill at the same time!  We can offer you a variety of routes ranging from half-day outings to off-road journeys lasting several days.  A guide will accompany you on any of our karting expeditions so his knowledge and expertise will ensure you have the best karting experience.  You do not need special qualifications to drive a go-kart.  You just jump in and drive as you would a car – the only thing is, you need your driving licence!
